"How to Snoopify your Wedding"
aka
"Peanut-y NuptIals"
Fellow Snoop-o-ramians
have sent in pictures and ideas on how you can make Snoopy a part
of your special day. If you have any ideas please feel free to
e-mail me at disey@snoop-o-rama.com

My wedding flowers. I was looking
all over for a pair of Snoopys small enough to be put on the bouquet
and a close friend of mine from Singapore managed to find this
photoframe with a pair of wedding Snoopy on the photoframe, it
was attached to a little cushion which I had to take out the stitches
but it worked out great. Love love love it......Wan

I seem to have misplaced
who sent me this picture but it's a cute cake topper

I just got married in
February and I would love to share with you that Snoopy was a
huge part of our reception and we used the Lucy & Linus theme
song for the wedding recessional.
I attached a few pictures
of the favors that I made, along with the cake -
we had about 200 people at the wedding and reception and had a
wonderful time Just to let you know, I took two years to plan
this wedding down to the very last detail -- and I have to say
it was totally worth ALL of the time that I took !!! See, my husband
loves to race as a hobby so what I did was I used snoopy and racing
and put them together to make the theme for our reception....and
of course I used the BLACK & WHITE colors....I made activity
books for the kids, life saver candies (w/a personal wrapper)
and then for the adults I had chocolate candy bars that I made
a wrapper with a personal message to all our guests.....I used
the racing snoopy on the placecards, menu cards and table cards..along
with snoopy on the top of our cake !! :)
We also burned a CD of
songs that we used at the reception and gave them as
gifts to our bridal party and family. Gee, I must stop bragging
about this wedding

Here are pictures from
our union ceremony dinner. We had a Snoopy/Oriental theme. We
had two of the Lucky Boats from Hong Kong each sitting on a gold
charger. Beneath them was a sea or jewels and treasures hanging
over the sides. Then each charger was put on a brass bowl with
a pedastle. In the center of the table, was a large bamboo planter
basket with a Bonsai with
international Snoopys hanging around on small poles. Hard to describe,
but was really cool.
We used the Two Woodstocks
Ring Box for our rings at the beginning. The cake was topped with
a cake topper with two snoopys in tuxedos (that was costly :_)
). We had a wonderful time as two Peanuts collectors using our
hobbie as our theme. We did a keepsake brochure that show the
theme.

Kim Jones Gilkeson had
Snoopy specially beaded on her wedding dress train!

I actually had Snoopy
on my dress. When I went searching for my
wedding dress, I feel in love with this one particular dress,
but I did
not like the train because it was plain and did not have any beading
on it. My bridesmaids suggested getting the dress and making a
Snoopy on the train. Well, that is exactly what I did! I spent
about $50.00 on beads, pearls, and crystals and made an embroidered
Snoopy that is probably about a 13" long and 12' tall. It
is just his face. He is adorable! Everyone could not believe that
I had made this since the only sewing I had done previously was
sewing on a button! :) It was a great way to have both of my loves
(my husband and Snoopy) there with me on such an important day!!
Also, we got married on October 2, 1999. (My husband picked the
date!) Our flower girls, who were 16 months old, carried the "Congratulation"
plush Snoopies down the aisle instead of flowers! We had the Japanese
Snoopy cake topper. And we also played the Linus and Lucy song
during our introduction to the reception.
If you were at the East
Coast Collectors Weekend this past summer, I had my embroidered
Snoopy there. Once the wedding was over, I had it framed along
with a picture of us.
Hope this helps to give
some ideas to others!!! Thanks for letting me share! :)

Just wanted to share
with you and fellow Snoop-o-ramanians my
"Snoopy Wedding". I've loved Snoopy since I was
a little girl and definitely wanted Snoopy to be a part of "my
big day'. For my Wedding on December 13, 1996, I had a friend
make Snoopy his very own tuxedo with tails so he could attend
my wedding. At my wedding reception, Snoopy stood tall and proud
at the Bridal party table. He looked so "handsome"
in his tails!!!
Also, for my garter and for the "something old", I took
one of my old Snoopy earrings that I got as a child and sewed
it on my garter as my "something old" and for good luck.
Thanks for letting me share this!!

Here are a couple of
pictures from our wedding. The first is a picture of our cake
topper. We just took the Snoopy & Belle Bride & Groom
PVC's & glued them onto a cake topper. The second is
a picture of my wife & I sitting at our table with our favorite
beagles. We had a Plush Snoopy & Belle all decked out in their
tuxedo & wedding dress. They were with us the entire night.
They were given to us by very good friends after we got engaged.
Hope the pictures are clear enough. We also used one of the hanging
bird feeders (the one of Snoopy lying on his doghouse where the
roof lifts off). We kept that on our table so people could put
envelopes in it.

I'm getting married June
9th and my fiance got me a set of the little wedding snoopy and
belle plushes as an early wedding present. I made the cutest little
display for the guest book table. It has two dog houses for the
base and then an ivy covered arch going from roof to roof with
snoopy and belle standing under the arch.
P.S. My fiance talked
me into having Linus&Lucy as the recessional song and it's
going to be a secret to all the guests and our parents. What a
surprise that will be!

Here are some photos
from my wedding on Aug 1 1998. I made a box for the cards as Lucy's
help stand. The cake top is a standard wedding cake top base,
then I painted wood clock parts white and built them a gazebo,
which is decorated with tulle, beads, and roses. They are standing
on a mirror. The cake had Woodstock flowers. Karen Chartier Royal
